City of Asheboro issued the following announcement on Oct. 20.
Applications are still being accepted. If you live in the Asheboro city limits and have faced a COVID-19 related economic hardship that has affected your ability to pay your rent, mortgage or utility bills, please visit www.uwrandolph.org and click on the GET HELP button on the top right of the webpage.
Assistance is limited to low/moderate income households; more information on eligibility and program requirements is available at www.uwrandolph.org.
