Normal Game:
Play to 11 and win by 2. Winners stay on court; runners-up retire and place paddles at the right end of the line. Runners-up replaced by next two paddles in line at the left end. Win two consecutive games and you must retire - then three players replaced by next three paddles in line
7 OR FEWER PADDLES WAITING IN LINE – Play to 11, Win by 2
8 OR MORE PADDLES WAITING IN LINE - Play to 9, Win by 2
12 OR MORE PADDLES WAITING IN LINE – Go to 4 Off, 4 On - Play to 9, Win by 2
Four Off, Four On Game:
Form two paddle lines with ARROW between them - “First Place” line & “Runners-Up” line.
When the four leave the court, winners put paddles at right end of “First Place” line, losers put paddles at the right end of “Runners-Up” line.
The ARROW first points to the “First Place” line and when a current game line is cleared, the next 4 come from this line. Now point the ARROW to the “Runners-Up” line; the next 4 are taken for that line. Each time four players go on court, reverse the direction of the ARROW.
Note that new players arriving should place their paddle at the end of the line the arrow is pointing towards.
18 OR MORE PADDLES WAITING IN LINE - PLAY TO 9 AND WIN BY 1
24 OR MORE PADDLES WAITING IN LINE - RALLY PLAY TO 15 AND WIN BY 1
(In rally play, your team wins a point whether serving or not)
Notes:
(A) When moving from to or from 4 on, 4 off, only one person should move all paddles. This prevents inadvertently placing the paddle incorrectly.
(B) If you have a particular player or players you wish to play with, STACKING is always allowed, but no one may place their paddle ahead of another player; i.e., all players in the stack must place their paddle with that of the person furthest back. In the case of 4 on and 4 off all stacking players must be in the same queue.
