Sustain Thomasville: Small Changes, Big Impact
Learn more about some of the initiatives we have in place to build a resilient, long lasting community.
We take old concrete from construction projects and repairs and recycle it into crushed concrete that can be used as a base for things like roads and buildings. Buying and hauling crushed concrete to a project site would cost about $55 per ton but using this piece of machinery to create it ourselves only costs about $9 per ton. Plus, it keeps these materials out of our landfill.
