Twelfth-grade student athletes from Asheboro City Schools and the Randolph County School System were honored as "Sportsmanship Recipients" at last night's Randolph Sports Council Winter Banquet at Snyder Farms Restaurant. Guest speaker was Rusty LaRue, Chief Operations Officer of Dairi-O Restaurants. Larue played basketball, baseball, and football at Wake Forest University, and later played for the NBA's Chicago Bulls and was part of their 1998 championship team. Congratulations to our student athletes!
