The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, and especially our K9s, are humbled by the appreciation and support shown for our K9 trading cards. Many of you have asked how these cards can be purchased. The cards were never meant to be a fundraising tool but an effort to showcase our canines to the community, and at the same time, educate about the service capabilities and the “fun facts” that we all love. You can visit each business to collect the canine card they sponsored or come by the Sheriff’s Office at 727 McDowell Rd., Asheboro, or the Archdale Sheriff’s Office sub-station at 305 Balfour Dr. in Archdale, to collect them. Some people asked about making a donation to the K9 Unit to assist with supplies and equipment. That is an option and a gracious gesture, but not necessary to obtain the cards.
