Come join the Thomasville Police Department in celebration of National Night Out (NNO) on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. This year's National Night out will be held at the Police Department, located at 250 W. Main St., Thomasville, NC. NNO is a unique crime and drug prevention event sponsored by the Police Department. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.
National Night Out is designed to:
- Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
- Generate engagement and support local anti-crime programs like community watch
- Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships
- Provide information, educational materials, and technical assistance aimed at reducing crime, violence, and substance abuse within communities
