On Wednesday, Feb. 19, former Wheatmore High School standout Rylan Smith’s current college team, the Guilford Quakers, won 13-8 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Southern Virginia Knights.
The game took place at Edgar H. McBane Field. This was their first matchup against the Knights this season.
The Quakers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. at Edgar H. McBane Field against Brevard Tornados.
