Wednesday, March 5: Eastern Randolph High School standout Ayanna Mears’ college team wins to Queens Royals

On Wednesday, March 5, former Eastern Randolph High School standout Ayanna Mears’ current college team, the North Carolina A&T Aggies, won 4-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Queens Royals.

The game took place at The Stick Williams Dream Fields. This was their second matchup against the Royals this season.

The Aggies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 1 p.m. at Lady Aggies Softball Complex against Monmouth Hawks.

Joshua Paul Dix has been arrested and charged with multiple counts related to sexual exploitation of a minor after an investigation by local authorities. The Invictus Task Force led efforts resulting in his arrest on May 7. The investigation is ongoing.
