On Saturday, March 1, former Uwharrie Charter Academy standout Mollie Bulla’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Liberty Lady Flames.

The game took place at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Lady Flames this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 3:30 p.m. at Cathi Maynard Park against Austin Peay Lady Govs.
