On Tuesday, April 22, former Asheboro High School standout Tanner Marsh’s current college team, the Liberty Flames, lost 6-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Wake Forest Deacons.

The game took place at David F. Couch Ballpark. This was their second matchup against the Deacons this season.

The Flames’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 6 p.m. at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium against Kennesaw State Owls.

Joshua Paul Dix has been arrested and charged with multiple counts related to sexual exploitation of a minor after an investigation by local authorities. The Invictus Task Force led efforts resulting in his arrest on May 7. The investigation is ongoing.
