On Sunday, March 9, former Providence Grove High School standout Emma Mazzarone’s current college team, the Virginia Tech Hokies, lost 9-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Virginia Cavaliers.

The game took place at Tech Softball Park. This was their third matchup against the Cavaliers this season.

The Hokies’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 5 p.m. at John Cropp Stadium against Kentucky Wildcats.
