On Sunday, March 30, former Uwharrie Charter Academy standout Logan Sawyer’s current college team, the Brevard Tornados, won 9-8 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the NC Wesleyan Battling Bishops.

The game took place at Gil Coan Field. This was their third matchup against the Battling Bishops this season.

The Tornados’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m. at Armstrong-Shelley Field against Methodist Monarchs.
