A worried wife in Randolph County, North Carolina, went searching for her husband only to discover an apparent drowning from an overturned tractor. Deputies are now investigating the incident, according to a tweet from Rock Hill Harold, a news outlet in North Carolina.

The investigation began after the wife was unable to get in touch with her husband for some time and decided to go out looking for him. She went to the pond on their property and found a turned over tractor, but it is unclear how the tractor ended up in that position, as reported by The News and Observer.

The tractor was discovered in the pond near Laughlin Road in Randleman. The woman had been searching for her husband for a few hours prior to finding the tractor. The deputies were called to the scene around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26th, according to My Fox 8. The story is still developing and more information is expected to be released.

The identity of the wife and husband has not been disclosed by the Sheriff's department. They are withholding this information until the investigation progresses further. Additionally, the man's body has not yet been found. The investigation is ongoing, and more updates are expected as the investigation continues, as reported by WFMY News 2.

This tragic incident serves as a reminder of the importance of safety precautions when operating heavy machinery and the need for vigilance in monitoring loved ones' well-being.
