Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
City of Asheboro presents: Historic Downtown Asheboro Ghostwalk—Season 5! Ghost guides will take you on a one hour guided theatrical walking tour of downtown Asheboro. You will learn TRUE stories of Asheboro’s long ago, eerie past. This walk is suited for ages 13 and over due to the nature of the stories and reenactments presented during the walk. Dates and times for this walk are as follows: October 5, 12, 19 and 26 with showtimes at 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Tickets for these events went on sale on August 30, 2021. Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased at the Asheboro Cultural & Recreation Services office (241 Sunset Avenue), or online through the city’s website: www.asheborocrs.recdesk.com and by clicking the “Programs” option. Make sure to get you tickets early, as these events sell out quickly.
