City of Asheboro recently issued the following announcement.
NOTICE OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASHEBORO
MEETING DATE: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2020
MEETING TIME: 6:00 PM
LOCATION: RANDOLPH COUNTY
EMERGENCY SERVICES BUILDING,
760 NEW CENTURY DRIVE, ASHEBORO, NORTH CAROLINA 27205
At 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, the City Council of the City of Asheboro will convene for a special meeting in the ambulance bay at the Randolph County Emergency Services Building, 760 New Century Drive, Asheboro, North Carolina 27205. This special meeting will be held as a joint meeting with the Randolph County Board of Commissioners.
The special joint meeting has been called for the purpose of discussing competitive healthcare activities by or on behalf of Randolph Health. The only agenda items planned for the meeting’s open session are the convening of the special joint meeting, action on motions for each governing board to go into closed session, and the adjournment of the meeting.
The discussion concerning Randolph Health and competitive healthcare activities will be conducted in closed session. No final action is anticipated at this meeting.
This special meeting notice is issued on the 15th day of October, 2020.
