On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Southwestern Randolph High School standout Tyler Parks’ current college team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, won 2-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the East Carolina Pirates.

The game took place at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. This was their first matchup against the Pirates this season.

The Tar Heels’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Cary C. Boshamer Stadium against East Carolina Pirates.
