On November 30, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported burglary in progress on Mamie May Road in Franklinville. During the investigation, Tina Marie Allen was found with an illegal substance and drug paraphernalia. She was arrested and taken to the Randolph County Detention Center.
The magistrate determined there was probable cause for felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Allen received a $10,000 secured bond and her first court appearance was scheduled for December 1, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
Allen was also served with an outstanding order for arrest that carried a preset bond of $1,000.
“She was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. The magistrate issued a $10,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for December 1, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.”
“She was also served an outstanding order for arrest which had a preset bond of $1,000.”
Recent data from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction shows that in the 2022-23 school year, only about 16% of senior students and 14% of junior students in Randolph County school districts were considered ready for college based on their performance on the science portion of the ACT (https://www.dpi.nc.gov/). In reading, approximately 24% of seniors and 21% of juniors met college readiness benchmarks (https://www.dpi.nc.gov/). For math, about 13% of seniors and just over 10% of juniors were deemed ready for college-level work (https://www.dpi.nc.gov/).
Allen is identified as a 57-year-old defendant.
