Randolph County Sheriff’s Office assists in drug-related arrest after traffic accident

On December 2, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office assisted the North Carolina State Highway Patrol on Spero Road in Asheboro after troopers discovered a substance while investigating an accident near Spero Road Exit and Interstate 73. Emergency medical services transported Harmony Simone White to a local hospital for treatment.

After conducting an investigation, authorities pursued charges against White for felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, felony possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia. A magistrate determined there was probable cause and issued a warrant for her arrest.

Later that day, law enforcement located White in Guilford County. She was arrested and taken to the Guilford County Detention Center where she was served with her warrant and given a $1,000 secured bond. Her court appearance is scheduled for January 6, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.

The defendant is identified as Harmony Simone White, age 32.
