On Friday, March 28, former Providence Grove High School standout Luke Thomas’ current college team, the UNC Greensboro Spartans, won 9-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the VMI Keydets.

The game took place at Lamore Field at Gray-Minor Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Keydets this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at Lamore Field at Gray-Minor Stadium against VMI Keydets.
