On Friday, Feb. 21, former Providence Grove High School standout Emma Mazzarone’s current college team, the Virginia Tech Hokies, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Drake Bulldogs.

The game took place at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Hokies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 5 p.m. at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium against Alabama Crimson Tide.
