On Tuesday, Feb. 18, former Providence Grove High School standout Luke Thomas’ current college team, the UNC Greensboro Spartans, won 4-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Wake Forest Deacons.

The game took place at UNCG Baseball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Deacons this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. at English Field at Atlantic Union Bank Park against Virginia Tech Hokies.
