On Thursday, May 15, former Southwestern Randolph High School standout Madison Varner’s current collegiate team the Pfeiffer Falcons lost 0-8 against the Mount Union Purple Raiders in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.
The game took place at Margie Knight Sea Gull Softball Stadium at 1:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Mount Union Purple Raiders in the tournament.
The Pfeiffer Falcons’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 2:15 p.m. at Margie Knight Sea Gull Softball Stadium.
