On Thursday, April 17, former Providence Grove High School standout Emma Mazzarone’s current college team, the Virginia Tech Hokies, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Pittsburgh Panthers.

The game took place at Vartabedian Field. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Hokies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 2 p.m. at Vartabedian Field against Pittsburgh Panthers.
