On Saturday, March 8, former Wheatmore High School standout Rylan Smith’s current college team, the Guilford Quakers, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins.

The game took place at Edgar H. McBane Field. This was their second matchup against the Marlins this season.

The Quakers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 2 p.m. at Edgar H. McBane Field against Montclair State Redhawks.
