On Friday, Feb. 28, former Randleman High School standout Bethany Dobias’ current college team, the Western Carolina Catamounts, won 11-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Carolina A&T Aggies.

The game took place at Catamount Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Aggies this season.

The Catamounts’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. at Catamount Softball Complex against North Carolina A&T Aggies.

Joshua Paul Dix has been arrested and charged with multiple counts related to sexual exploitation of a minor after an investigation by local authorities. The Invictus Task Force led efforts resulting in his arrest on May 7. The investigation is ongoing.
