On Sunday, March 30, former Uwharrie Charter Academy standout Mollie Bulla’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the James Madison Dukes.

The game took place at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park. This was their fifth matchup against the Dukes this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 5 p.m. at Brinkley Softball Stadium against Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs.
