On Saturday, March 1, former Southwestern Randolph High School standout Alex Coleman’s current college team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, won 12-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Kent State Golden Flashes.

The game took place at Anderson Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Flashes this season.

The Tar Heels’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 3 p.m. at Anderson Softball Stadium against Harvard Crimson.
