On Friday, Feb. 28, former Southwestern Randolph High School standout Alex Coleman’s current college team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, won 18-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Saint Joseph’s Hawks.

The game took place at Anderson Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Tar Heels’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12:30 p.m. at Anderson Softball Stadium against Kent State Golden Flashes.

Joshua Paul Dix has been arrested and charged with multiple counts related to sexual exploitation of a minor after an investigation by local authorities. The Invictus Task Force led efforts resulting in his arrest on May 7. The investigation is ongoing.
